But I do know she checks out my dA (and I've mentioned I have this journal thingy there) page every now and then, so I think it's better to play safe >_>

Well, with me it's really because I don't want my mom seeing what I've been up to >__>
And because some of the stuff I post isn't exactly safe for kids, I want to be able to control who sees it or not :)

yeeeeeaaaaah, but I think that's subjective to a point. Since art has lots of Nudity. I don't have any warning for the nudity in my art because to me it's all about the human fourm. The human fourm is a technical and complicated organism, I consider it to be the peak of complexity for an artist.

Well, the reason I want kids to stay out of here is not so much for the safety of the kids as me wanting to avoid angry parents :D
And it's not really about the nudity - after all I've seen naked people since I was a kid and I turned out ok - it's more the occasional gore that I'm worried about.
