Last weekend I went and visited my Mom, only two months after seeing her at Xmas. The biggest issue here is that it's a long drive and I get SO BORED with all of the possible routes, which I have done multiple times a year for years and years. SO BORED. Holy bat dren you saw a Merlin! Our first pony was named Merlin after those birds. Fabulous shots, and I love the ramshackle building. Must have been an incredible example of the Arts & Crafts movement in its day. Great beach photos too!

As for Millbrook NY....Ahem....Leary and some folks lived up there on what I think was the Mellon estate for some time. The Pranksters stopped by and from what I've read the two crowds did not get along. Er, not a giant surprise that. ;)

gorgeous buildings, but i'm more here to say that i have loved dupontcastle.com forever and ever and i'm really happy that someone else knows about it. :)
