I had a rare night alone last night and was all prepared to work (more on that later) with "2012" on in the background -- honestly, there's nothing quite as fun as watching John Cusack phone in his wisecrackin' -- but there was a big package waiting for me on the stoop. All 5 seasons of "Moonlighting"! (for 39.95!!) I'd almost forgot I'd ordered ( Read more... )

Maybe you should've tried the donut theory on the guy. Nobody can resist THAT, can they?? Heehee. I'm sorry he's not the guy for you. There really are so few out there, and so few of THOSE who are available for whatever reason. But if a guy doesn't smile at something YOU say, I don't hold out much hope for the rest of us. Honestly. WTF men.

Hope work gets better. Or at least less. Or something.

So, not only is this guy humorless (cause you're funny!) but he's socially inept - laugh at the dad's story!!!

Good for you for getting back on the bike!

Sorry work has been such a bear. Ugh.

I only have the first season of Moonlighting...I should perhaps rectify that.

Oh for pity's sake. You're FUNNY! Anyone who doesn't get that is not in the running.

On behalf of medical students and related professionals everywhere, I thank you for the overtime. :-)

{{{{{{you}}}}}}} Sorry work is so stressed. I do hope it lets up a little bit in the near future. Any guy who doesn't laugh at your sense of humor doesn't need to be given the time of day. Move along, move along! {{{{{more hugs to you and Maddy}}}}}

Yikes to Unlaughing Guy -- and good grief, why was your mother so desperate for you to meet him?

Ugh ugh ugh about dreadful work. I'm glad they're paying overtime, and I hope by the end of next year things are much improved, but, you know, the end of next year is quite a ways a way, so I really hope things ease up before then.

Yay Moonlighting, though! And I agree with you about David Addison. (Do bears bear? Do bees be?) If the show ever makes it to iTunes, there are a couple of episodes I'll just have to buy.
