There's a Gorgon in us
That waits, mayhap watches
But does not cry
Among these Weepers
All turned for Stone
And their small tears
without salt, still, complete

I'm glad you liked it.

The line "I am with the Weepers, I go into and come out of the flame" stuck with me, I like it.

I might have to expand Gorgon, it started as a quick sketch, but it is growing on me. I want to know more about The Weepers..

Gorgon is good too, Greek Mythology is such a treasure trove. I also like The Kindly Ones but have never written a poem about them as I can't get over anxiety of influence from reading Neil Gaiman.
