hurricanes are the reason i could never live on the east coast. oh, sure, you think earthquakes are bad, but at least they have the decency to surprise you. it was SUCK if you knew one was coming and you had to wait around to see how badly it was going to fuck you up. i don't need that kind of stress in my life.

in any event, i'm pulling for you guys. hunker down and hopefully this thing passes by quietly.

thanks michael...and i agree with you on the earthquake vs. hurricane front. i experienced to smallish earthquakes while living on the west coast and they really didn't scare me...i actually enjoyed them. i'm sure i wouldn't be saying that if they were bigger but whatever. this waiting around for impending destruction drives me up the wall...if only i could get my hands on some anxiety meds. xanax, adovan...something!
