I know, it's been ages since my last post. I can only hope people are still interested in anything I have to say (or write).

Truth be told, I hit a long dry spell after I completed Shield Mate. Couldn't write anything substantial until almost Christmas. But then I got sidetracked by the yuletide season. I did manage to write a number of chapters ( Read more... )

Oh Dear!! I can only imagine how tired you must have been during renovations. Right now our house is a mess as we are painting and renovating some things here. I almost can't stand the mess!!!

I was worried for you, but didn't write because I had no idea what was going on and if you were busy I didn't want to bother you.

I read Shield Mate and loved it, never told you so. I will read anything you write, Hon, no matter how long it takes.

You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Karen! Oh yes, renovating one's home is no picnic at all. I almost couldn't stand the mess either. And I'm pretty sure we'll discover mistakes and problems that will entail getting the work crew back here. Good luck with your renovations. I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible.

I'm sorry though that I made people worry. I should have posted a quick explanation for my absence. I can only blame exhaustion not just of body but also of mind for my negligence. Anyway, I'm busy again but since it's writing the next book, I'm not complaining.

Thanks so much for the positive feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed Shield Mate. I hope you enjoy the next book as well. :D

Happy to hear you are back. Since we are suffering from depression and withdraw symptoms a little piece of the up coming book could be good, Doc's orders. I saw on goodreads that it's the twins book coming up. Will it be part 1 and 2 or just one large book.

Hi Eileen! Yes, it's good to be back. And I'm doing my best to write something, even a few paragraphs every day. I too would like to get the next book out asap. Though aren't depression and withdrawal symptoms a bit much? 😄

Book Eight will indeed feature the twins and so far it looks like it will be one large book. Something like An Ounce of Kindness in terms of interwoven storylines if not scope. Of course, I could change my mind and turn the book into a two-parter. Who knows? But one thing that's sure is that Zykriel and Gilmael will share one book rather than each having his own. I rather miss the dynamics I always find myself exploring when I write Elladan and Elrohir. Which reminds me - I really should finish Prior Claim. There are only about four chapters to go!

I can't release any excerpts at this point but I can tell you this book will feature a forced and arranged marriage and an enemies-to-lovers romance. So two tropes for the price of one. Not bad, right? 😄

Oh my God!!!! Can't wait can't wait can't wait. I really really really can't wait for the book to be released. I wish time would fly... I love arranged/forced marriage and enemies to lovers tropes!!! This is like a double treat. Please please let the time fly. *Closing eyes and crossing fingers*

Wow, I hope you don't wear out your fingers! Much as I wish I could write faster and get the next book out soonest, I know that's not going to happen.

There are times when I hate you for your amazing writing skills, especially when I fall in love with a character that I know will not appear again. Jamir I loved him so much, he could a nice mate for one of the twins. I can only guess that Gil is going into a forced marriage while Zyk's is arranged since he is the shy one or he is just quiet and does not seem interested in finding a mate, whether its shyness or he can not be bothered I know not. As for Gil I think he is a heartbreak love them and leave them . I could be wrong, since you are know to through spans into your works e.g Shield Mates, brilliant book, did not imagine it like that, what a shocker to say the list.

Hi Eileen,
Liquid Silver Books opened a new website and closed the old one as part of ongoing organizational restructuring within their mother company. All user accounts have been migrated to the new site but the bookshelves have not been connected yet. if you can give me your LSB customer name and the email your user account is under, they will connect your bookshelf manually so you can access your books.
