My Grandfather was named Valentine so I can bypass all the holiday crap if I feel like it and just celebrate it as his Patron Saint's feast day. But this year didn't require anything so dire as that.
I was just thinking of you the other day, scanning through old Second Troy emails in search of an address. :) I should really get more organized and send a proper email, instead of just relying on LJ to keep in touch.
I hope I'm reading your comment correctly, and interpreting "anything so dire as that" as meaning that you're happy.
If you're feeling up to it, I'd like to extend a specific invitation to the play: February 23/24 and March 2/3/4 (all 8:00, except for the 4th). It promises to be a really good show: sex, death, love, and the humanizing power of Art.
