Having a go at writing has been a great way of appreciating good writers more - leaves me with a sense of admiration and a kind of wonder. And - so many people like to write. It fascinates me that they do.
Having cut down chs 24 and 25 from 2869 words to 982 plus 721 I loathe ch 25 so much that it's got to go. I shall graft a little bit onto ch 26 instead.
