The Secret Circle

I just finished watching the latest episode of The Secret Circle..... I have to admit, the only reason I watched the series is because of Gale Harold.  But somehow or rather, I find that his character lack someting...... I don't really know what.... but I guess in trying to portray Charles as dark and mysterious person, it turned Gale into a lack-

Of course, you're absolutely entitled to your opinion, hon, but I don't agree. I think Gale's acting has been first-rate and he has used his face, eyes, and body to great effect. I think he's doing an excellent job and he's gotten a lot of positive comments from reviewers, critics, colleagues, directors, producers, and even people who don't particularly like the show. The character of Charles Meade is complex. Rather than being one static thing like a villain or a dad or a son, he's many things, with many multi-layered emotions/attitudes thrown into the mix: rage, fear, grief, doubt, despair, love, yearning, jealousy. And I think he plays them all very well. I also think he's happy with the role, so good for him! :)

I actually know what you mean. I felt the way that you do when the series first started. It was like I couldn't quite put my finger on what was bugging me, but I just thought maybe it was because he was playing an evil character and I don't like seeing him evil. But I 'm enjoying it much more now that his character has shown more diversity and isn't just this evil person.

I watched the most recent episode last night and I thought it was one of his best episodes so far! :)

It is strange to think of him as being the father of a teenaged daughter, I think that might be why you're thinking of him as older. ;)

I'm definitely enjoying the show, I think it's really well made and well acted. And Lord knows how happy I am that I get to see Gale every week! :D

I am enjoying the show and especially am glad to see Gale and I look forward to seeing him every week. No matter what, I support him in any role he plays because I believe in him and I think he is an excellent actor. Thank you for your opinions and am glad that you guys contradict me as it helps to broaden my perspective in this.
