I think you're on to something there. Everyone likes familiar, predictable people, and situations they can relate to. That's probably why For Better or For Worse is such a popular comic strip, even though it's not a knee-slapper. We get to know the characters; they almost are our friends, in a weird big brother sort of way.

Since Mr Schulz died some papers have been running old strips by him. As far as I know, nobody's taken over his job. Who could? I may not like Peanuts, but I know it couldn't be immitated.

Interesting, these letters are. Keep on posting them, cuz it isn't getting boring for me. I like your comments on the Bible. Maybe you will strike up some spiritual interest there. you never know. :)

yeah... only after I'd typed some of that did I realize I was sort of witnessing to him. It is pretty neat-o that I could slip that in. :-D I hope it plants a little seed.
