On the way home from work today, the number 48 bus got stuck half-way up the hill. They lowered the ramp so somebody could gently slide out of the bus (this person needed it), but then the ramp wouldn't come back in. Cahty and I have been watching Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex for the last couple weeks. I'm so glad she likes it. It's my second time through the series and it's still awesome. It's gone! The Acura is really gone! I had the cash in my hand as of 8:00 tonight. I'm so stoked. I really needed to get rid of that car. It's seen too much bloodshed in this life.

I'd heard somewhere that doing all our math in base 12 (duodecimal) would be a good idea. That makes more sense the more I think about it. It's easy to divide into halves, quarters, and thirds (and sixths I guess) and it's not so drastically different from decimal as base 16 (hexadecimal).
