Shit. Someone else on my LJ has a 'dongle' and I'd thought it was a stupid name that they'd made up.

However we are NOT MIDDLE AGED. We're just..confused.

I hope you're going to bring your dongle along today. Then maybe we'll be a bit less confused....

It's linked to the computer at the moment and I daren't touch it in case it stops working...lol

Al had lots of video clips of the twins on is old mobile (and his new one) and we didn't want to lose them so that's what we used the dongle for and they are now safely stored in a file on the computer (I must back them up onto a disc!)

They are hilarious on the clips. I can't believe they were ever that small nor that they would just remain in one place for ages.

The thing is....isn't it just a *wire*????

Don't talk to me about backups. I must back up all my music and pics. I even have an external hard drive to back it all up to, so that when my PC eventually gives up the ghost (let that be a long way into the future, please) I can move all the files to the new one.

Anyway, once you've got the disc, you could send it to.....Jamaica! ;)

No it looks like one of those memory pens that we use at work. And it's see through too. I do like see through gadgets... it makes it look all the more "technical" and reminds me of growing up when they first started doing things with se through covers like swatches and calculators. (Oh god how sad am I??)
