There I was, minding my own business, web-stalking, when I accidentally and not on purpose found this document from 1992:

My friend Troll aka Chris Stroberger used to write stories about his friends in various wacky situations. During my tenure there, he wrote this one and a story called "Nightmare on Matthews St" where we find ourselves in a slasher flick. If you enjoyed this, that is a better and more accessible, but substantially longer piece. You can find it at www.trolls.org in the Library.

Folks may also know Brad Woodcock and John "MCQ" McKeown from flock and occasional visits. Spike appears in Nightmare.

Troll had a gift for capturing people's mannerisms. It's interesting to see how some have changed and others have not. For example, though I'm sure I don't do it as much, I can totally imagine myself saying "that can't possibly be right." Use of the word "dude" has gone down much more.
