Pain in the neck, having my head examined

UPDATE:

Whiplash is literally a pain in the neck, but seems to be getting a little better.

The car is not totalled, though my theory that the differential was wrecked was correct. A new rear panel, trunk latch, bumper, rear axle and differential are being installed now and will be ready Friday.  Woo hoo!

BTW, please don't buy a Honda. Think of the children! Won't someone please think of the children?

How timely. I saw my first S2000 last night, and I was trying to figure out what it was. I'm not sure what acailin doesn't like about them. (How odd. She knows mg4hmg4g, but I guess if she's one of Leah's friends from PA, it's not that surprising. I suppose the real question, is how do _I_ know her. Anyway, hello!) I've liked the other Honda vehicles I've driven. And Honda owners tend to be very satisfied with their cars.

I've seen a wrecked S2000 as well. Surprisingly, they hold up quite well, even if the wheels and axles didn't on this one. (It's okay, the 18-year-old driver was okay and his parents bought him a new BMW SUV the following week. Must be nice.) I will be the first to admit that I am not a huge fan of Honda cars. They are just everywhere, and their not terribly exciting cars. I've heard them referred to as lemmings. The cars in general have dreary exteriors and plastic, almost Fisher Price-quality interiors. Fortunately, they are making an effort to change this! The new Civic Si is "cozy" but has enough legal horsepower to impress even me. The Honda Fit is promising and now having seen one on the mean streets of Pittsburgh, I'm quite pleased to see that Honda has come out with a car to keep up with the Toyotas, Mitsubishis, and Mazdas of this market ( ... )

You're such a sweetheart.

I definitely like having a toy car. The civic is for work -- getting people and stuff from point A to point B with a minimum of fuss and expense. The toy car, whatever it is, is for having fun.

The Sky definitely looks snazzy. I'm hoping that the Miata is salvagable, but if it isn't I will definitely price out the Sky as well.

So glad to hear you're all right!
If you want another miata, and want to own a red 91, I know someone who's thinking of selling one for 4300.

Ack! So sorry to hear about your mishap. Hope you feel better quick.

Have you had a look at the Tesla Roadster yet? Bit pricey at the moment, but they should be coming down soon. And they save lots of money on gas.
