The yak is gone. Either someone stole it or it escaped. An investigation is underway. The cows remain.

There were moose in Toronto. People broke off and stole the antlers. Then there were antler-less moose in Toronto.

No moose here yet. But I'll keep my eye out. Maybe the yak has gone to join them.

(It's really unfortunate that the plural of moose is moose and not meese. Meese is a great word.)
