Baby put through x-ray machine at airport

Okay, seriously? I don't care how "inexperienced" of a traveler someone is, WTF makes you think you put the baby through the damn x-ray machine?! I swear I would slap my mother, stepmother, or MIL if any of them did something like that. My mom is the least "seasoned traveler" of all three and she knows

Oh boy. I saw a woman leave her baby in the car (windows down, fine temperature outside) to get a cup of coffee in a bakery last week. It just hit me that I don't think I could ever do that, and I don't even like babies!!!

I've left Carter in the car before to run back into the house if I forgot something (and I knew exactly where it was), or to unload the bags first if he's sleeping. I'll usually lock the car even though I know I'll literally be gone only a minute (it's only about 10 feet to the front door and I can see through the windows of the house). I'd never go into a store without him though...
