One of my students and her two siblings have tested positive for a sub type of swine flu. Now I'm more of a hand-washing phanatic than ever (ok, I got to phan- and realized that outside of the Phillies context, it's supposed to be FANatic, but, hey, there it is).

oh no! i'd almost stopped thinking about swine flu, largely i suppose because the media coverage has really declined. i hope that your student recovers and that nobody else catches it.

and i love that you spelled it phanatic :]
