John Keats or W.H. Auden. I compared them in a paper for Lampo's class. I have this obsession with meta-fiction (fiction that refers to the writing of fiction, the movie Adaptation, Cursive lyrics, etc.) and so I looked for that in each of their writing. While writing the paper, I grew to really like them a lot. Keats is from the 19th century, and Auden from the 20th. They're both really clever and awesome. Keats and Auden get my t.shirt.rebellion seal of approval!
By the way...hey, Erica Nelson. Long six months no see.
frickin' ARTHUR RIMBAUD. Caution: weird as all hell, but he's my favorite poet and unless you can read french you have to settle for the translations (which are awesome). Also check Gregory Corso. Hmm...who else. I used to be really into poetry but I'm a prose man now. I can tell you prose.
