So Harry Potter was okay. The movie was great, but would have been better had I not just re-read the book. I'd already known what was cut out in general, but the whole thing was very condensed and rushed from my point of view. The romance was hilarious, however over-stressed. I loved it! Luna also was fantastic. Cormac licking his pinky in a seductive way at the party was NOT something from a PG movie. And what was up with Ginny? Horny little girl. Still one of my favorite characters though.
I was very disappointed in the choice for Narcissa. She's supposed to be young-looking and bleach-blonde. Not grandma who looks young for her old age. There was BROWN in her hair. I was very mad. Not as mad as I was, though, at teen Tom Riddle looking like a 12 year old girl with a deep voice. I lament his hotness that should have been there.
The whole movie should have been PG-13, I think. Our whole movie theatre jumped and gasped when, you know. Crazy Inferi. It scared the bejesus out of me, and I already knew what was going to happen. I would love to like critique the movie, but I'm lazy. The made up scene where the Burrow got toasted was completely pointless and unnecessary, and could have been replaced with lengthening the final scene at the Astronomy Tower. That was waaaaay too quick. I know it's not supposed to be this drawn-out thing, but still.
Anyway, considering how they had to cut out a lot, the editors did a great job. Harry on Felix was HILARIOUS. I am going to walk around doing the pincers thing with my fingers and see who knows what it is. :)
Driving back at 3am was annoying, but it was worth it. Even though I do wish there had been more people dressed up--it's always fun to see the costumes. :) I think Linden will agree with me that the men in HP6 were quite fine. Mhmm.
OMG Luna is awesome. I wish there was more Tonks, though. Hmm.
Why did they burn the Weasley's house?! Ahh!
Despite me bashing it a lot, it was pretty awesome. Harry on drugs made it all better. :)

Going to Busch Gardens tomorrow until Sunday, which should be fun. After that I get looked at by the real-life equivalents of the House show, and then comes moving out. August 2nd I might go up to Rhode Island for a memorial service for Grandma T, which will be really sad. The only acting jobs (as an extra, of course) I've gotten have been over in PA and WV. It is annoying. There's tons of stuff in MD... sigh.
I started doing real art again! It's nice to have real hobbies. :)
