Hi George! You all seem to be very close in the show, especially the characters that heve been there for a while. How close are you with your co-stars in real life? George Eads: I get asked this question a lot. I think its because a telepathy starts to happen between characters that have known each other so long, they almost assume we all hang out personally. For me as a choice i don't personally hang out with the people I work with -- if we're working together, we'll have dinner in Vegas. I know Jorja and Eric are very close they hang out a lot. But for me as an actor I like to keep almost a degree of professional distance so i can maintain my character on screen with that actor. It's all out of respect.
Hum... okay? Let me get this straight: he doesn't let himself be friends with the other actors because they work together? Wow. That's kinda sad. Am I the only one to think he sounds a bit like a jerk here? It really surprised me because the rest of the chat he's actually nice and all and suddenly... don't know. Weird.
Will George ever stop lying?

He sounds like a jerk because he's obviously, lying.
He's avoiding to be linked to Eric like the plague. That's the reason George never wants to pose together with Eric anymore at all the public events like they always used to do in the past. So, of course, he's not going to say they are friends....
George is obviously lying because he has said in interviews that he and Jorja are very close in real life and that he usually plays golf with William Petersen.

"Will George ever stop lying?"
I don't think so.
George's fangirls have always claimed that he and Jorja are really good friends, that they knew each other before CSI and that George and Billy Petersen are golf buddies. How are they going to explain THIS NEW LIE? ;)

"I don't personally hang out with the people I work with"
Please.....In the TV Guide interview with Gary Dourdan (when they said that they shared a 'healthy man love' as if they thought there's an 'unhealthy kind of man love' *rolls eyes*), George and Gary said that they 'hang out together a lot'.
Of course, I'm sure that would probably be another lie; George and his PR people would think that saying that he hang out a lot with a playboy like Gary Dourdan, would make him look straight, LOL
Looks like George can't keep ANY story straight....
Like my sister likes to say: Liar liar, pants on fire!
I wonder what his co-stars will think when they hear about this. Hope they have rotten eggs around. *rolls eyes*
People who've read his previous interviews know this whole thing (the marriage, the answers in this chat, etc) are complete LIES! He told in a lot of interviews that he was single and that he was great friends with his co-stars and now he comes out saying this. Idiot.
"So practically humping your male co-star on stage is a 'professional distance'?ananda643November 13 2009, 15:21:38 UTC
Exactly. Who does George think he's fooling? Everybody has read those interviews where they said that the cast was 'like a family' and they hang out together!!
And not everybody is a gullible fangirl.....;)
Here's George keeping a 'professional distance' from Eric, LOL
- Dry-humping Eric on stage at 2005 SAG Awards on live television!:
What the fangirls think about this does not matter; what matters is that he is so far down in some sort of denial, whatever that may be, that he feels the need to contradict what he has said in past interviews.
Regardless of what the fangirls believe (or in some cases, want to believe), George has blatantly lied - and he is doing a terrible job attempting to cover it up.
