Is it really true, that he is engaged? Please tell me its a hoax. I didnt know they were even living together.

So does this mean that all the gossip before this was untrue. That he isnt gay, and that he never dated Eric?

That George is engaged doesn't mean that he's not gay. And it doesn't mean that he and Eric don't have a relationship.

There are plenty of closeted gay actors in Hollywood who have 'girlfriends', are 'engaged' (Hayden Christensen, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles.....), even there are gay actors who are married with children (John Travolta, Tom Cruise, Will Smith....) And all those 'girlfriends', engagements' and marriages haven't turn them straight.

Billy Masters is well known for having very reliable sources about the CSI cast. He has posted numerous blind items in the past about George, Eric and Jorja being gay and also, about George's bearding.

Just a few days after George announced that he was engaged on the Late Late Show (in November) , Billy Masters posted on his site this blind item that is already marked as solved:

"Let me just say to a certain television star that no one buys your sudden engagement. I won't shine a light on him but you don't need to be an investigator to figure this one out."... )

Yes, they were. It was reported on several sites they were SHARING George's house in LA. This is an article from usaweekend that confirms it:

"On his recent post season break, Eads "just wanted to unplug and get away from it all, so he left the L.A HOME HE SHARES WITH CASTMATE ERIC SZMANDA (Greg Sanders) to go camping and sleep in his boat. The Belton, Texas high school athlete still plays football and hoops from time to time, and he has golfed since age 13, but give him a TV and he's happy. "My TV's always on Sports Center, Comedy Central or the Discovery Channel", he confesses. "WE could have a wildlife marathon over here."

Notice that George says "We". Eric was sharing the house with him, not 'taking care of Maverick while George was out of town' which was the 'official' story that their PR teams released, when the rumors about George and Eric being a couple and living together were commented everywhere.

Interesting article. But if they were a couple wouldn't Eric have joined on his camping trip?

'taking care of Maverick while George was out of town' - that did sound suspicious. u do not have to look after some ones dog by living at their place. Plus their are kennels for such things.

Plus if Maverick was comfortable having Eric watch him. That means that Maverick was more than familiar with Eric. Like Eric must have spent quite a bit of time with Maverick & George. LOl. or maybe i am just clutching at straws..lol

I don't think George would be comfortable putting Maverick in a kennel. I know that I put my dog in one all of once and will never, ever do that to her again. George takes his dog to work so you know he loves him too much to put him in one of those awful kennels.

That's the thing, lonewolfe; Eric didn't look after George's dog. They made it up to justify Eric's presence at George's house.

And speaking of dogs, I don't know if this is true but could it be that Dax is Maverick's son?

I dont know much about dogs, but Maverick is balck and Dax is brown (does that make a difference as to whther Dax is Maverick's son).

Silly question is Maverick a female dog?

Maverick is a male dog and it isn't black. If you've seen pics of Dax and Maverick, they are the same color.

Its been speculated here by a few people, if you go back a page or so it should pop up. Its not a popular opinion, since this is a comm for a different ship but I do agree completely. The BI's about a break-up, the bearding all make it seem odd for them to still be together. Were they at one point (possibly on and off from the sounds of things)? I think so, but not any more. I ship them/whoever makes them happy.

I'm the poster that started the "Eric and Chad" post.

I can totally understand that this isn't a popular opinion, especially not in this comm. At the same time I got the impression that people here are very open-minded and quite updated so I figured I'd post here anyway. When I heard about this theory a couple of years ago I was like "No way", so I relate to everyone believing in Eric and George. I recall reading something about the 3 of them being together but I think it's more likely that Eric and George are broken up (if they were together) and that Eric and Chad are together now.

Thanks for posting those, I haven't seen them before. Do you have more?

The only reference she has made to George in her long post is to point out that George is dating Monika and is engaged.
