Masterpost Chapter 9
If I’m wrong about Gabe being at least a little bit into guys, then my gaydar must be completely off, because he is currently sitting on my bed in his pajamas, (which are covered in sheep, by the way. Sheep) cuddling my stuffed penguin, practically begging Ryan to tell him the story of how we got together, again. Ryan doesn’t even talk to Gabe much anyway. He makes me translate. So I end up telling the story. Ryan has been talking to William more and more, though.
“Gabe,” I groan, exasperated. “We have literally told you that story like, fifteen times.”
“But it’s a cute story,” he pouts.
“If you ask again, I’m going to start making out with Ryan right in front of you.” He opens his mouth to reply, but before he can, William claps a hand over Gabe’s mouth.
“For the love of God, Gabe, shut up! I already had enough of them sucking face at the movies; I really do not need to see any more,” William says with a horrified expression. I just grin at him and Ryan rolls his eyes at me.
“Can you not stand to keep your hands off of me for more than ten minutes?” Ryan smirks.
“Me? Me?” He raises his eyebrows at me, so I continue. “You’re the one who crawled into my lap at the movies and practically molested me!” Ryan starts cracking up, along with Gabe.
“Oh, don’t act like you didn’t love it,” Ryan speaks. When he sees the surprised looks we give him, he shrugs. “Look guys,” he says, addressing William and Gabe. “I don’t think you two really care what I sound like, and we’re friends now. It’s really hard for me to speak to anyone other than Brendon, but I trust you guys.” William raises his eyebrows, and Gabe makes a sound of approval.
“Thank God. I don’t know if you know this, but it’s kind of hard to be friends with someone that you can’t communicate with,” Gabe says. Exactly; that’s why I learned to sign in the first place.
“Yeah, this will make things so much better,” William agrees.
“Ryan,” I whine. He looks at me. “That was totally our thing.” I put on my best pout and bring out the sad eyes. Not that I’m being serious. I’m glad he’s talking to them. But I’ll admit, it does make me a little bit jealous. Just a little bit. That’s probably ridiculous. Oh, well.
“Well, signing is still our thing,” he offers. “They don’t understand that, so it’s still ours,” he smiles sweetly at me.
“I’m still signing everything I say, because you can’t just start signing things for eight years, and then suddenly stop.”
“Yeah, me too,” Ryan says.
“Gabe, why are you in your pajamas when it’s only six o’clock?” William asks.
“Because my jeans were so tight they were cutting off my circulation, so it was either pajamas, or nothing,” he winks at William. William visibly swallows and turns red. I bite my lip to keep from laughing, because I wish they’d just make out already or something. I still need to talk to Gabe, actually.
“Hey, Gabe. Come in here with me to order pizza, you know what William likes,” I say. Of course, I don’t actually need him to come with me, but I need to have a little chat with him. William gives me a look, clearly saying, ‘I’m going to murder you in your sleep if you say anything.’
Once we’re in the kitchen at the phone, and I’ve ordered the pizza, I turn to Gabe.
“So. I have a question for you,” I start, taking a deep breath. I really hope I’m right about this.
“Hm?” he asks.
“Are you completely, one hundred-percent straight?” I ask. He kind of pales a little, and his mouth drops open.
“What? Why would you ask me that?” he says. He’s avoiding the question. Interesting.
“I’m only asking,” I say innocently. “Because you’re always making sexual innuendos about boys and whatnot.”
“I-I mean. I…can’t I make a joke without you thinking I’m gay?” he defends.
“I’m not saying you’re gay. There is an in-between, you know. Ever heard of bisexual? Pansexual? Or some people simply go by the Kinsey scale-"
“Okay, okay! I get it!” he stops me. He looks down at the floor before saying a quiet, “How did you know?” My eyes widen. I knew I was right.
“So you aren’t…straight?” I ask. I know I sound a bit hopeful, but seriously, he and William were made for each other.
“Um. I don’t. I don’t know, exactly.” He looks back up at me again. “I was actually going to talk to you about it sometime. Look, yes, I know that I like guys, okay? I’ve known since like the eighth grade when Peter Evans caught me checking him out in the locker room and he called me a fag.” Peter Evans looks like a flaming homosexual, so he really has no room to talk. “I like girls too though, obviously. I’ve probably liked just as many boys as I have girls, I just don’t date the boys, because. Well, you know...” he trails off.
“You’re scared of what people will think if they find out,” I finish for him. It’s not a question, because I know it’s true. Ryan was the same way.
“Yeah,” he says quietly.
“Well, look. Ryan and I are out at school, and other than that incident with Chris at lunch that one time, nobody’s bothered us. So you wouldn’t need to worry about that. And didn’t you say that you don’t live with your parents?” He nods. “Well then, they wouldn’t even know.” He looks thoughtful for a minute.
“I wouldn’t know what to tell people, though. I mean, I guess I’m bi, although I kinda just like people for their personalities, not their gender,” he says.
“Huh, that’s exactly what William said,” I blurt out before realizing that, oh wait, Gabe wasn’t supposed to know that. Shit.
“What?” he gasps. “William. William is-he likes-no way. Oh, you have got to be fucking kidding me. All this time I never thought I even…oh fuck this.” Suddenly, Gabe gets up and stomps back up the stairs grumbling something along the lines of, “fucking pining away…all this time…can’t believe this.” I’m pretty sure something exciting is about to happen, so I dart up to my room just as Gabe walks up to William and pushes him backwards so he lands on my bed.
“You ass! You didn’t tell me you liked guys!” Oh fuck. I am so in trouble. William’s shocked eyes widen and he turns his accusing glare at me.
“Brendon! What the hell, why did you tell him?” he yells.
“I’m just trying to help, Will,” I say calmly.
“Both of you shut up,” says Gabe, turning back to William. I translate to Ryan, and he is sitting on the floor with his mouth hanging open. “William, let me just tell you something. All those times I flirted with you when we hung out, and every time I acted like I liked you, I wasn’t fucking kidding, okay? But you never took a fucking hint. And I just thought it was because you were straight. I mean, you sure did flaunt your girlfriends in front of me enough. Why do you think I started dating one girl after the next anyway? Because it was awful watching you be happy with some girl while I stood there and watched, completely alone. I’ve been so ridiculously obvious toward you since we were like, fucking thirteen, and you’ve liked boys this whole time, and I never even knew. Well, now I guess I know that it wasn’t guys you didn’t like, it was just me,” Gabe’s voice breaks on the last word, and he turns around and walks out. A few seconds later, I hear the bathroom door slam shut.
“I…I…what?” William whispers. “What?” He looks up at me helplessly, and he looks like he’s about to cry.
“Dude, you need to go talk to him,” I say. “Tell him you do like him.” He nods, mumbling something I can’t hear, and gets up to go to the bathroom. I can hear him saying, “Gabe, open the door, please.” A moment later, the door opens and then closes again, and I can’t hear anything.
“What the fuck just happened?” Ryan says.
I let out a long sigh. “They both like boys and they both have flaming crushes on each other.” Ryan raises his eyebrows. “Yeah, I know,” I say as I sit beside him on the floor.
“I hope they work it out. It’s gonna suck if they’re all mad at each other and then we can only hang out with them separately,” he sulks.
“They’re gonna be fine, don’t worry,” I tell him. “Also, you promised that I’d get some when we got home, and then you went and invited William and Gabe over. Not cool,” I pout. Ryan laughs and leans over to kiss me.
“I’m sorry. I thought it’d be fun. We can totally still mess around while they’re here.”
“Ryan! I will not subject my friends to that horror,” I tease. He rolls his eyes and rolls back on the floor so he’s lying down, grabbing my shirt and bringing me down with him so I’m on top of him.
“We can be very quiet,” he purrs in my ear. I swallow hard. “Or, we could take a shower together. Or just wait until they’re asleep.” If he keeps talking in that sexy voice, I’m going to die any minute now.
“When did you become so bad?” I say playfully. “It’s kind of hot. Although I know it’s only because you can’t resist me.” He scoffs and grabs one of my legs, pulling it over so I’m on my knees on either side of him. Then he grabs the back of my neck and pulls me in for a sweet kiss. I sigh against his lips. I am so happy with my life right now. God, I never want to have to go a day without Ryan ever again. I never realized how much I need him to be happy.
As we’re happily making out on the floor, I hear a loud moan. Then I realize, hey wait. That didn’t come from us. I pull back and sit up, listening. There. There it is again. Definitely a moan. Coming from the bathroom. Suddenly I start giggling. Ryan looks at me curiously. “Uh, I think they worked it out,” I laugh.
“Why?”
“Because I’m pretty sure they’re getting it on in my bathroom.” Ryan looks like he’s trying to hold back laughter.
“Well it’s only fair that we get to use the bedroom if they’ve taken the bathroom,” he says innocently. I grin and lean down to kiss him again.
“Sweetie, you’ve got a bit of a problem,” I say, looking down at Ryan’s pants. He laughs.
“Yeah, think you could help me out with that?” he grins. I slink back down and attach our lips while simultaneously undoing his pants. Blindingly fast, Ryan tears his shirt off, and then mine, tossing them aside. “We don’t need those,” he says in a low voice. Before I can even move, Ryan’s got a hand down my pants. He smirks. “No underwear?” he says as he wraps his fingers around me.
“Who needs underwear?” I say a bit breathlessly. He bites his lip seductively, and fuck, he knows how much that turns me on. He starts to move his hand agonizingly slow, teasing me, the fucker. I lean down to place kisses on his neck. I decide that I want to mark him. He always gives me hickeys, why the hell not? I suck hard on his sensitive skin, nibbling here and there. Ryan moans, low and dirty, and he starts really jerking me now. It feels overwhelmingly good. So good that I already can tell I’m not going to last long. I place more sloppy kisses along his neck and jaw as I reach into his pants to grab his cock. He groans as I start stroking him, and the sounds are making blood rush in my ears. The sounds Ryan makes are insane. I don’t know if it’s because he can’t hear them, but they’re insane and they make it so, so hard to not come immediately when they escape his mouth. I like to stare at his mouth when he’s like this. It’s always hanging open, his eyes closed, and his lips are always a little shiny. I eagerly attack his mouth and force my tongue inside, and he groans again.
“Fuck,” I whisper when he flicks his wrist in this way that makes me nearly die from pleasure. “So good.” A few more strokes from his nimble fingers and I’m coming all over his hand, probably moaning like a whore. I only stop my movements on his cock for a second before I’m back at it, twice as fast as before. He’s mumbling, and a lusty “yeah” escapes his throat.
“God, yes,” he chokes out, completely writhing. He is the hottest fucking thing I have ever seen. A minute later, he’s coming, all the while biting his lip and squeezing his eyes shut, saying my name quietly.
Suddenly the door opens, and William walks in.
“Oh God! My eyes! Oh God!” He throws his arms in front of his face to block us from his view and Gabe tries to get into the room.
“What? What is it?” Gabe asks.
“Oh, Jesus Christ, and on the floor guys, really? There is a bed like ten feet away from you! Oh fuck, I’m scarred for life,” he wails.
“Oh don’t even, Beckett. I’ll be expecting you two to sanitize my bathroom before I even think about stepping foot in there,” I smirk. William goes red and looks absolutely mortified while Gabe just smiles brightly. Yeah, nothing’s bringing him down tonight.
“This is the gayest sleepover ever,” Ryan states indifferently. It takes a minute before we all start laughing, but then we can’t stop laughing. God, if someone told me a month ago that I’d be sitting here in my bedroom floor with Ryan, my boyfriend, and Gabe and William, who just fooled around in my bathroom, with come all over me while we laugh like a bunch of idiots, I’d think the person was out of their mind. But I couldn’t be happier.
***
After I practically forced William and Gabe to douse my bathroom in bleach, and Ryan and I showered, (not together, unfortunately) we sat down on my bed with our pizza and put a movie in. Well, Ryan and I are cuddled up at the end of my bed, and Gabe and William are sprawled on the floor in front of the TV.
“I’ve got a surprise for you,” Ryan whispers to me. I smile at him and kiss his cheek.
“What’s that?” He shakes his head.
“Sorry, you gotta wait until tomorrow. But I’ll be gone until tomorrow afternoon, I’ve gotta go somewhere with my mom. After then, I’ll tell you.” I pout at him.
“Well why’d you tell me now then? Just to torture me? Not fair,” I whine.
“Don’t pout, you’re too damn cute when you do that,” he smiles at me and plants a wet kiss on my lips.
“Hey, can you two shut it? We’re trying to watch Miss Congeniality over here,” Gabe says loudly.
“So are you two boyfriends yet, or what?” I ask, knowing that’ll shut him up, and it does. He starts to splutter a little bit and William doesn’t even blush, he just grins. To my surprise, William grabs Gabe’s hand, and then they continue to watch the movie.
Ryan and I end up making out again. What? It’s totally understandable. He’s too sexy and distracting for me to just sit there beside him and not make out with him.
Plus, you know. Never hurts to brush up on your kissing skills, right?
