I think my initial reaction to the Deadspin alert was "JESUS H TAP DANCING CHRIST"

Speculation immediately began as to whether the pitcher would at least be given safe passage out of town. I personally doubt it very much, and expect him to be put down quietly in the locker room.

I'm pretty sure that if the Yankees end up losing, Steinbrenner will be feasting on the guy's entrails.
