Please consider helping to strip the Mormon Church of its Tax Exempt Status.
Let me be clear on this.
I am not anti-religion. I am not racist. I am simply through accepting the attitude of "Oh golly darn, we'll get em next time!" I will defend your right to having a personal faith that can be practiced without harm to another, outside secular politics. I will defend your right to be as free as you can be especially when you are being treated differently because of something so silly and arbitrary as the color of your skin.
If you think this nation is a "christian" nation and was founded with wholesome goodness may I remind you as we gear up for Thanksgiving of one of the reasons the pilgrims came to this country; religious persecution. Right now I am being persecuted. The bulk of why I am being persecuted is because some clergy can't "keep it in the pulpit". May I also remind you as we gear up for Thanksgiving that this nation was stolen (similar to how Christianity came to the world, building their churches on Pagan holy grounds and their holidays the same exact way.) from the native peoples that inhabited this land before us through deceit, intimidation, and bloodshed.

Also I do not mean to be arrogant or curt or rude but simply: if you can't understand how I feel that's ok. Maybe we can discuss it (here, or privately). If you can't support me because of your own beliefs I'm disappointed and I'll do my best to get over it. I will not defriend or hope to be defriended over the issue but please, search within your heart and ask, "is this right?"
