I'm moving to Raleigh to start an MFA program in the fall. Liese and I visited over the weekend, met current students and faculty, made--I think!--some future friends. Speaking of proximity, you'll be about two hours from Wilmington (i.e., the beach); all you have to do is get on I-40 and just keep going straight until you reach the ocean. Also, you'll be about 45 minutes from Carrborro, where Electric Six sometimes plays. I already left a comment on Liese's entry that I might have to drag you to an Electric Six show.
