So, after years and years of dealing with chronic pain, visiting doctors who wouldn't take me seriously and put me on NSAIDS (anti-inflammatory's) like ibuprofen and celebrex, that work great for joint pain but do jackshit for muscular pain like I experience, I finally got diagnosed with what I figured was the problem all along. I've known a number of people with fibro. Robert had it, Vel has it, Lisa has it, and I know some other people who do. It's--incredibly rough, esp. because doctors don't tend to listen when you tell them you fucking hurt all the time. I'm glad you finally got a doctor to take you seriously and prescribe something.

Have you been prescribed a pain medication for during the day? A muscle relaxer at night is all well and good, but I'd think you'd need something for the rest of the time, too.
