I've got a juicy novel brewing in my brain...

When thinking about morals, it seems popular to believe that God could create moral absolutes (if there is a God and he cares how we behave). But wouldn't moral law then be subjective to God's opinion? That's still not objective, it's just might makes right to the extreme (God can send us to hell if we don't behave).

So I went outside for a smoke, and there climbing into the dumpster beside my apartment was a possum. This dumpster is the food provider for a group of feral cats that live in the bushes nearby.
