I'm so sad that I can't watch Supernatural anymore. It's my own choice, but I actually felt disappointed and annoyed and kinda sad every time since season 6, so I had to give it up. I still love the show, but I think I'm gonna live withing the season 1-5 timespan.. :)

Sorry to hear that :/ but I understand. I definitely love S1 - S5 best but I love the show too much to ever give it up.

I thought I had that love, but they destroyed it first with Castiel and then with Bobby. :c I can't take or accept what's been done so it was better for me to step out.

I hate, hate, HATE that Sam and Dean are separated again but I also think that this is a really cool, creative arc that they have kinda set up. Plus it really gives the show the opportunity to be scary again, which I think it's been kinda lacking in later seasons. I think the only way I won't like it is if they spend a huge chunk of season 8 trying to get Cas and Dean back. I want them back ASAP. I don't want it to be like season 6 where we were 11 episodes in before Sam got his soul back.

I totally agree. I hope they won't go that route and I also hope that it won't be a carbon copy situation of season 4, including Dean coming back the same way and a previously broken Sam off with another demon or whatever. Hopefully they won't go that exact route, though.

I don't think they'll do that. I'd like to think Sam learned his lesson the first time lol. It will be interesting to see what kind of mental state he's in though, especially if they do a time jump (which I kind of hope they don't.)

Yeah, I like to think he's learned from that too lol. And yeah, hope they stay away from the time jumps. Curious to see if it will be something like Mystery Spot. Jared said something about getting an opportunity to do something they didn't get to do before, and I'm wondering if he means Sam saving Dean like he was supposed to save him from Hell in season 3.

And he has no one left.

Sheriff Mills!! Don't forget Sheriff Mills! She's awesome and kicks ass, and I think she might be able to keep Sam from going totally off the rails. *crosses fingers Sam goes to her*

Anway, I loved the final (but then again, I also loved the whole season, and season 6, so maybe I'm just easy to please?), and I'm so, so excited for season 8! \o/

Adghd, poor Deeeaaan! *flails*

Sheriff Mills! How'd I forget her? I LOVE her. And now I really want her and Sam to team up to figure out how to get Dean and Cas out of purgatory. It'd be perfect.

Honestly, I'm pretty easy to please too lol. It isn't often that I'm displeased with something dealing with Show. I just think that season 6 was the most flawed out of all the seasons. But I agree, I'm very excited for season 8; it has so much potential to be awesome.

I kind of like the idea that we could have a few episodes of Sam searching for Dean, Dean kicking monster ass in purgatory to survive for his own sake for a change (nobody there to save except himself). All the potential of purgatory - Madison! Alphas! Mary even...! and I really want this to last a decent amount of time not end up rushing to get the boys back together just for the sake of it.

So yeah, Sam teaming up with Jody to tidy up the Leviathan mess would be pretty cool - I loved their dynamic in Time after Time and she'd be good for Sam, pulling himself back together because he looked right of the verge of a nervous breakdown at the end there, didn't he? And of course, there is also Garth as a potential ally for Sam topside...

I totally agree. This would be an awesome opportunity to bring back old enemies and friends, which would be sweet. I definitely want to see the 'Dean in Purgatory' arc fleshed out because it has awesome potential, but I don't want him there forever either. I like Sam and Dean best when they're being awesome together :)

Sheriff Mills and Sam would be so amazing as a kick-ass partners, because you're right, they have a great dynamic and Sam's gonna need someone to keep him from losing it completely. Plus I ADORE Kim Rhodes.

" Plus I ADORE Kim Rhodes. " Indeed! (and I'm hoping they will get her for JIB next year having met her ad A8 and she was just as lovely in person as you'd expect).
