WOW questions

Nov 20, 2007 13:50

I have two questions that I can't figure out. 1. how does someone in the game on a different continent whom you have never met start a chat with you and offer to run an instant with you? 2. How do you use the coordinates on thotbot in the game to find something.

That is all for now.  LOL

Coords are from addons such as this simple one or Titan Panel if you want more than just coords.

As to number one, just go to your 'social' and 'who' and see everyone online (ok, not everyone, but you get the idea).

I am assuming you are on Bonechewer and part of our guild already? If not you need to get on that! Before you level up too much :)

The Beql addon (and with the additional lightheaded quest data) has user-added quest coordinates and NPC locations and you can click on the coordinates and receive an arrow in the center of the screen giving you a bearing and range to the location. Very, very, very useful.

Do you like that better than Cartographer?

Well because Beql integrates the lightheaded quest comment database you can get information on what other people did to complete the quests and where you need to go, which was a big help. The arrow is really handy. I also use Cartographer to show all the different resource points.

Hm.
I may have to switch to one of those add-ons at some point...
BTW, what server are you on?
And do you still play GW?
