studio pictures

Okay, so right now the 'studio' at our house is way too full of assorted junk to be very useful for recording. I'll be dealing with that soon, but I'm pleased to say that I've managed to put together a decent stopgap solution until then.

Hey, I have a cz 101.
I never use it for anything, but I have one.
Good for buzzy bass stuff.

I bought that one at Veneman's in Springfield, I guess it was maybe... 1986? I guess that's right, because I first saw the CZ in this picture, featured in a british electronic music magazine my folks brought back from a trip.

For a long time my rig consisted of the CZ-101, a Mirage, and an MSQ-700 which was already obsolete at the time, but which I've also managed to hang onto. And a TR-707, because I was never cool enough for an -808 or -909...

you're quite welcome - better it gets used in your studio, than sit on a shelf in mine!
