This morning I dreamed that we went down to the Country Estate, and cjpetherick gave me a big bowl of kerosene soup. He said that the aged kerosene was a lot more mellow than the fresh stuff, and it actually did taste okay, kind of like chicken broth. No harmful effects followed, but just the same, I think I'll steer clear if someone offers it to me again...

You do drink Booker's, which, at 120 proof, tastes like kerosene to some people. In any event, I'll pick some up for this weekend. If you don't want to drink it, we can always just burn something with it.

You're talking about the kerosene, not the Booker's, right? It'll be a few more weeks before the diet lets me have bourbon again, and I'd cry bitter tears to see it go up in smoke...

... plus, it's bloody expensive...
