Some type of nasty bug has evidently decided to take up residence in my honey fenriss's respiratory tract. She's had a moderately high fever since sunday, which hasn't broken yet. We do have her on antibiotics, prescribed by the ER doc we saw sunday night, so with luck we'll see some improvement soon - assuming, of course, that the doctor is right about ( Read more... )

It was probably overkill, but the fever was over 102, and there was some blood, so I made the judgment call...

Doesn't sound like an over-reaction to me. Coughing up blood definitely justifies an ER visit.

Fear not, I'm hitting the vitamins pretty hard. Anything with a 'these statements not approved by the FDA' label is totally fair game...

oh a big hug to you i was just thinking about you guys yesterday - wow - its so hard to just sit around and watch the one you love be all sick and you cant do nuthin- but feel kinda helpless- not easy - glad you went to hospital blood is always not a good sign- tell rachel to get well soon and you stay healthy so you can come visit- we do miss you !!!(all my xoxox to the kittys)
