what the hell, people?

Known facts:

1) Americans enjoy coffee.
2) Americans tend to consume large portions of what they enjoy.

Why then, is it so damn difficult to find a cheap coffee mug that holds between 24-32 ounces? I see lots of 16oz, but not much bigger. If this keeps up I may have to actually go check the offerings at Starbucks...

Back when I briefly drank (hyper-caffeinated) coffee, I used a cappuccino cup, but filled it with espresso.

They have some at Sheetz (gas station/convenience store) that are as big as a medium-sized chihuahua. Or a smallish dachshund. Anyway, they're big.

Sheetz. Hee.

Their recruiting slogan used to be 'its fun to work at Sheetz'. Google, however, says this:
Your search - "its fun to work at sheetz" - did not match any documents. No big surprise there...

Truck stop gas station-marts is where I get mine. I currently have one that holds and entire pot of coffee with a little fold out plastic tab on the bottom that sticks into the seat cushion gap on your seat as not to tip over. BP & Citco seems to have them the most.

Truck stops. Duh. Why the hell didn't that occur to me?

What would be badass is if they came with a little attachment for dispensing white crosses...

Ross and TJ Maxx kitchenware sections regularly have hugemongous coffee mugs for under $4.

(Or, if you were resigned to spending starbucks' type cash, grab one at Faire -- as I recall, the potters all have fabulous big mugs.)

Haven't checked TJ Maxx, but Ross didn't yield much in actual 'mugs'. I did get a small teapot there, which is what I'm using right now. I also got scolded by a security guard for opening the box, which seems a bit futile when standing knee-deep in a pile of random junk...
