I've come to realize something scary. Your average 10 year old has the same gaming intelect of me when I had a gaming intelect at 16. Videogames are training kids to remember stuff better and better. I'm almost afraid to think of the fact that our society is inadvertantly programming itself like this. 3 generations from now we're gonna see more ( Read more... )

I believe the word you are looking for, sir, is 'intellect'

and while it is probably true that mad skills are coming to children at younger ages, its also true that they fail to be entertained by other things, such as books. Which is a problem! You can't teach everything in videogames, unfortunately.
