Seriously, I did NOT like the Indolent Indio's take on this, because no matter what you do, the original article was demeaning.
I have many OFW friends like you and GF-chama. I have OFW family - they're actually waiting for us to join them in the diaspora, never mind if they're in the US where they get insulted half the time for being FIlipino, and only praised when they do something that's not way better than what the Caucasians can do with their limits.

Oh, and technically I'm not an OFW; I'm a student. ^_^ However I have seen and met many Filipinos around here, and they're all very hardworking. I'm sure a lot of them plan to go back to the Philippines as soon as they can afford it -- mahal kasi magretire dito sa SG, so it's much better to live your prime in the Philippines.
Needless to say, to these OFWs, Chip Tsao and his "Filipino" supporters are nothing more than assholes who sling bits of you-know-what at their faces, and they NEED to be defended.

I am annoyed that some of our own continue to think like elitists, spouting off pompous words like "you just don't get satire".
