"Staring at that coffee's not going to drink it for you."

"Not exactly thirsty anymore."

"Okay, let's talk. That's why we're here, right?"

"What if I wanted this to be a date?"

"Don't joke like that."

"I won't, then. What if. I wanted this to be a date?"

"How am I supposed to answer that?"

"However you feel about it. This isn't a math test. There's no right or wrong."

"Don't be like that..."

"You were so sure couple weeks back. You kissed me, remember?"

"You kissed back."

"For about five seconds. You wouldn't stop looking at me. Might as well have begged me to."

"...Was I really that bad?"

"We both know that's not the issue."

"Then what is? Tell me. You always seem to know me better than I do."

"Sounds like an accusation."

"Just... please!"

"Do you like me?"

"With the way things are going--"

"It's a 'yes' or 'no' question."

"Yes, okay?"

"Well, why didn't you just come out and say it?"

"I wasn't ready to."

"What do you mean?"

"It's... Why does it always have to be about being right or proving a point with you? Why can't you just... let things sit for a while? Let them run their course. It might've helped us figure things out, better than this is right now."

"'Us'?"

"...'It's a "yes" or "no" question.'"
