Yikes. Sounds like when I had varicocele. So many Dr's just said there was nothing to it. It wasn't until I was discharged from the Navy that they actually found and corrected it. A nice 3 and a half food piece of blood vessel later and I was in the same spot you are now.

Hope you have a speedy recovery. Pain sucks! But at least the problem is (hopefully) corrected.

Remind me to tell you about how I underwent a vasectomy with the left side inadequately anesthetized.

Only time in my life I've understood how people can pass out from pain.

I hope you can make the most of your trip to Yosemite. Hopefully, you'll be a quick healer.

Sounds like quite the procedure there, pal. 5 - 6 weeks is one heck of a recovery period.

Relax, take it easy, and listen to your body. I got a little ambitious doing things around the house earlier today and am paying for it this evening.
