And I walked away. He's a really nice guy and I'd hate to let him down, but geology is a bitch and it can rest in the flames that burn but do not consume

yeah it's weird not having parents caring what time you get home. last weekend i came home at like 730 in the morning and my mom was outside reading the newspaper and smoking a cigarette. and she just said "goodmorning" and continued reading. If i had tried that in high school, i would have never heard the end of it.
