Under no circumstances should you allow Beatrice to find you a suitable match. Insist on one as unsuitable as possible.

If unsuitable were suitable then there wouldn't be a problem! Maybe. Possibly.

Marriages of (in)convenience have fine story potential -- whether you do the comedic/farce treatment, or if tragedy's your thing. Where would Romeo and Juliet be if they'd gone along with a suitable match (ok, you in the back shouting 'alive' -- shhhh!).

Encouraging Beatrice to Manage her relatives is a very dangerous practice :)

If I were lecturing you, you'd know it. That wasn't even close to being a lecture. That was an informational meeting, with implications of actions presented for your consideration, and a few courses of actions suggested.

But I didn't like it! Therefore it MUST be a lecture! I like information, after all.

Lectures involve fewer statements in the conditional and a whole heck of a lot more in the imperative. You'd also get the full power of oratorical skills dumped on your head. And less hair-stroking.
