I feel so much better when my working day feels like it counts for something. Thank goodness for weekends.

...and now I need to go crochet two green yarns together into a workable tomato patch. hm..(Maybe an invisible one can be used to support it.) Anywho.. :)

So I just stumbled across your journal via trashashmarta's, and just to satisfy curiosity, I read your profile, and noticed the "omnisexual" comment and have to give you proper props for using the word. I relayed it to Tj and it was like a lightbulb. We both are thinking of claiming it for ourselves now :) Did you read it somewhere or come up with it independently or what? Do tell....

I think it was a combo. Mostly I was looking for a better alternative to "bisexual" since I don't really buy into binary gender. So I just started substituting other prefixes. Omni seemed the most accurate. I looked on-line to see if there were any omnisexual groups (surely, I thought, other people have claimed this too) and there were. The words pansexual and pomosexual also came up. I kind of like the last one; a bit of an oxymoron. It's a word to describe the sexuality of someone who doesn't believe in defining sexuality, as in POst MOdern SEXUALity. Sometimes I use that one for fun. Or just sexual - I figure that should sum it up. "Are you sexual? Yes."

If only people would actually ask that question. Ye gods, how much more entertaining small talk would be then! *grin* I kind of like "pomosexual" too. I'll have to tell Tj about it - he'll chuckle.
