So I was going to do one post recounting my lovely birthday, the answers to my shipping meme and this mix, which was meant to be my birthday gift to you all, but LJ said the post was too big. Oh wow I thought I was the only one who read "Janto" ALL OVER "I Know Him So Well". It fits SO perfectly... the very first time I heard that version, that's all I could think about. So thank you for including that :)

I thought I was just being a doof and listening with my Janto ears on when I first heard that song. It makes me very happy I wasn't the only one! And makes me feel like less of a dork. :D

Okay so I was going to make you that Awake vid as a birthday gift and surprise, but then school took over my life. Now that I know you really want it? Once the semester ends I will take it up.

Also I love this. I don't know too many of the songs, which is perfect, because it gives me new things to listen to and I'm always loving my Janto. The graphic is cool too. I like the silouette.

I wasn't so sure about the graphic, it's still kind of "meh" to me. I think have to live with it for a bit longer and I think I will like it.

this is a really good mix, really well thought out - thanks for sharing :)

I always heard that version of I know him so well as a janto song as well (though I don't like the ianto memorial vid to it for some reason)

I am impressed by all of it.And of course "A blip in time" tells us what we all knew about Jack and Ianto's (but never saw!) relationship.And Gareth's Welsh vowels...Ugh!
Oi, that song, it really penetrates one's heart, even the John's song "What about us" keeps bringing back images of Ianto!

I'm having trouble getting some of the tracks to play, the M4 files. What program do I need to play them. For the MP3's I'm using windows media but it doesnt seem to like M4's.
I dont think I'd even heard of David Cook before this but his two tracks are lovely.

Oh yeah, I didn't even think about that. MP4 are iTunes files, I think, and I'm pretty sure won't play in anything else. If you want, I can convert them to MP3s and upload them individually.

David Cook was the American Idol winner in 2008, he's amazing.

That would be ace, I dont have a ipod so I've no need for itunes normally.
Ahh American Idol, that makes sense. I dont really keep track of the UK version never mind the others.

Aw...I meant to do this last night. Okay. I will do my best to remember to do this when I get home tonight. I just have to check which songs are MP4s and upload them. Hopefully it won't take long, it's just a matter of my scatterbrained self remembering to do it.
