Well, actually I didn't know about it (I don't know where I've been living for the past week) until I saw your lj post, so I have to thank you! :D But what happened exactly?
Last week, Midnight Sun got leaked and yesterday Stephenie posted about it here (you can also download MS from there if you want) and basically threw her toys out of the pram and said that because someone had leaked it and we'd all been 'dishonest' and read it, she wasn't going to finish writing it. Which naturally went down a storm with fandom, some of whom hadn't read it and felt chagrined that they were being punished for the actions of others, others who had read it and loved it and had had it restore the faith they'd lost in BD and think she's throwing a hissy fit because of the negative reaction to BD, others who think she's a goddess and we've broken her....
Wow! But, well, the fact that this happens now, right after the release of BD and the not very enthusiastic reactions of some readers, it's actually a bit suspicious...
