Well, I was tagged...
Rules:
1. Post these rules.
2. Each tagged person must post 8 things about themselves on their journal.
3. At the end, you have to choose and tag 8 people.
1. I have a scar on the right side of my head, right above my ear, but luckily my hair covers it. I earned it when I was 12: I was coming home from school (cycling) and my rucksack got tangled with a low balcony, so I was suddenly pulled backwards and my head collided with the balcony. I don't really remember much of it, but they had to sew the cut because it was quite deep, my mum says she could see my skull (ewww).
2. I wish I could play the violin, or the electric guitar. I tried the first once with dramatic results, while I studied guitar for 2 years but I didn't really have the time to continue, so I just play it by myself every now and then, dreaming of actually managing to play Slash's solo in Sweet Child O' Mine...
3. Once a girl made advances towards me. And she was one of my old friends. Very flattering, but quite awkward as well. And after that she started being so obsessive that we had a massive fight, and now we can barely stand each other's sight.
4. I love chocolate... no, I adore it. Sometimes I just think I could die without it. I probably tried every different kind, from white to the one with 99% of cocoa (which was so terribly doughy that got stuck to my palate), but my favourite remains dark chocolate.
5. Humour is my Achilles' heel (particularly Brithish humour). I believe I'm totally defenceless against it. A man with a considerable dose of sense of humour has already quite a good chance to win my heart :D
6. When I read a book I almost always inevitably end up with a huge crush on one of the characters. The long list, which started back when I was a child and read Little Women (yeah, Laurie is in it), includes Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice, Faramir from The Lord of the Rings, Athos from The Three Musketeers and, above all, (if you haven't already noticed by now, lol) professor Remus Lupin!!!
7. Between my old schoolmates I was known, among other things, as the scanner girl. That is because I seem to have a sort of photographic memory, it takes me little time to memorize something I read. This is certainly an advantage, but the other side of the coin is that I always end up accumulating homework and studying a huge amount of stuff at the last minute.
8. At the moment I'm craving a working modem. The new one arrived yesterday, but my flatmates failed to install it, there's still something wrong with the line, and I'm tired of using the university pc room, where people read what I'm doing while pretending to mind their own business. And I miss my friends and family in Italy, I haven't really talked to them for two weeks!
I'm not tagging anyone, everyone already did it!
Also, a very happy birthday to the fabulous
knackard !!!
Hope you're having a nice day!
