A music meme

This time I wasn't tagged, but I'll do the meme anyway 'cos I can't study for my essays a minute longer or I'll implode, and chococoffeekiss  suggested I did it and... I realise I'm starting to ramble again... Oh, well, I'm blaming Rhys Davies entirely for that... Damn you and your tons of short stories!

This way you'll see the strangest assortment of music ever, ( Read more... )

Implosion due to studying is never good! LOL.

We do have simliar taste in music...
I think yours is better.
Velvet Underground, Radiohead, Madonna...
I love all of those artists!

Have you heard Snow Patrol's newest album yet?
One of my friends gave me a copy but I haven't had time to really listen...

Implosion avoided, luckily. But, quoting something you may know, "only by a minute, microscopic, molecule of a technicality" (now that I think about it it may be a bit disturbing, knowing what that was actually referring to, lol).

Snow Patrol's new album is amazing, I love it! I believe I'm right in the middle of a "Gary-Lightbody-take-me-I'm-yours" phase... Some of the songs are really gorgeous, particularly the last one, "The Lightning Strike" (which is quite long, about 16 minutes, but it's divided in 3 parts and the first one is the best): it's epic, every time I listen to it I get goosebumps...

It both weirds me out and makes me blush to have someone actually quote that line. LOL! (though it is one of my favorites)

So glad you didn't implode! Although implosion due from studies is unprecedented and would make a great story;D

I do like "The Lightning Strike." (It's now the longest song on my iPod,lol.)Epic is the perfect word!

Well, I'm probably a bit of a weirdo, quoting not only films and books, but even fanfiction, but I do love your fic (and that line was hilarious), it's one of my favourite R/T fics ever!
Speaking of which, I'd very much like to translate it in Italian, and I wanted to ask your permission (of course I would report you as the author!): it would be a good excercise (since I want to become a translator) and would allow readers who aren't very familiar with English to know this wonderful story!
