Nice if you like FWD. Other wise a good car. I would get the Mazdaspeed version if I wanted another FWD car.

Lookin at the VW Rabbit myself. Tried the GTI, but honestly the 4 + turbo had way too much lag. The flappy paddle gearbox was nice, but not available on the plain ol' rabbit. It just didn't feel like $8K worth of mods to the Rabbit, so Rabbit it is.

After reading your comment, I decided to check out the Rabbit. After comparing, the Rabbit is only $800 more with a few more extra features. But ultimately, the Mazda 3 will be a better deal. It's more fuel efficient, and I'll likely be able to get a nice deal since my parents have bought three Mazda Tributes from the local dealer over the past 7 years. (yeah... >_>)
