I am always so disappointed that Singapore noodles means curry. Because I really, really hate curry. The scent makes me want to throw up.

There was this amazing, yummy dish I used to eat all the time in S'pore and I can't find it here. The closest I can find are these Singapore noodles and well... curry.

I've tried making it but it's not the same. And I'm not exactly sure what goes in it.

Yes, I'm only a fan of certain types of curry, and I'm pretty resistant to almost all Indian curries. Dad loves it, but I'm much more particular.

I marinated chicken and prawns with shallots, lemongrass , lime, chilli and ginger but that was because I already had that for the other recipe. I packed 100g of that and kept it in a separate container.

Salad ingredients were lime juice, mixed lettuce, cucumber and half an avocado, chopped. All kept in different sections of my Tupperware container, and mixed together at lunch time.

Was fantastic.
