I have actually crippled myself in a 2hr sking lesson. OWIEOWIEOWIEOWIEOWIE... I don't think I can move from the sofa until New Year. (and I've got another lesson tomorrow)
1.What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Went to a West End Show, went to a convention, went sking (did I mention OUCH!), went to Ireland and Portugal, was on TV and several other things. Whoever said I wasn't adventurous! ;)
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never really make any so therefore I don't really keep them.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My Grandad.
5. What countries did you visit?
Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales & Portugal.
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A warm body in my bed at night.
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
17th - 19th October. You all know why! ;) Also 9th March - ZOMG GILES! And my Birthday - Ireland. Guinness. Best Mate.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Applying to go to America for a Term and actually following through on it. (I go in a week! Eeek!)
9. What was your biggest failure?
My social ineptitude due to my inability to realise I was depressed and talk to people.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
A few colds, NO freshers flu (HURRAH!) and laryngitis. Also the usual recurring dodgy wrist, knees and shoulder.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My Macbook. I loves it.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Eh... I dunno.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My Mother. She is sadly as pig-headed as me, never admits she's wrong and takes everything to heart.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Education & moving to America.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The Hub!
16. What song will always remind you of 2008?
"Lost Highway" Bon Jovi
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? sadder
b) thinner or fatter? thinner (I think)
c) richer or poorer? poorer... very much poorer.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Gone out and participated more in things.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Being too stressed, and too depressed/mopey. I will resolve to be happier this year. (same as Charli)
20. How did you spend Christmas?
In my PJ's with my parents watching Children's TV. Was ace.
21. What was your favorite month of 2008?
October.
22. Did you fall in love in 2008?
I did not. Unless you count Rhys!Bear. ;)
23. How many one-night stands?

24. What was your favourite TV program?
Torchwood OR Gavin & Stacey OR Merlin
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't think I've ever hated anyone.
26. What was the best book you read?
You expected me to remember all the books I've read?! Almost Perfect was definitely the funniest but I think the one I'm reading at the mo 'Before I Die' is really good. OH! I really enjoyed 'Trumpet' by Jackie Kay.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Imogen Heap.
28. What did you want and get?
Eh... lots of things. A trip to Dublin for my B'day was prob the best!
29. What did you want and not get?
Gareth David-Lloyd under my Christmas tree. Oh, you meant realistically? A trip to NY for my b'day. It all got far to complicated but I did get Dublin instead! :)
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
I haven't really been to the cinema much since we don't really have one in Aber. But I really enjoyed Mamma Mia like the dork I am.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
As I've already mentioned several times. Went to Dublin and I was 21.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Having someone to share it with.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
I wear what I wear. I don't really have a fashion concept. Although I'm a sucker for shoes and bags.
34. What kept you sane?
Books, oddly. The internet. John Barrowman. Lorna. All the people on LJ.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
GDL - who I almost shared a lift with. *fans self* Although Kai Owen will always have a special place in my heart! ;)
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The American presidential election. I'm quite excited about being in the country when Barack Obama is inaugurated.

Probably all the Torchwood girlies off of here. :)

It's better to do something you enjoy and be skint rather than do a job you hate and have money.
