Yes! A three day weekend and it will be a good one. I have one week to go until I see Wicked! (Guess how excited I am!) Chenthu is coming down today and we are going hang out. Dad and Penny left today. I had a great time showing them around the area and I enjoyed their visit. I think that they had fun and enjoyed the sightseeing trips we did.

I am exhausted and plan to spend the rest of the relaxing.

I had warned Dad and Penny that our apartment was a bit sparse. I mean, we had a real dining room table, we both have real beds, but the living room consisted of a camping chair, and an air mattress that was being used as a couch.  Even with the warning I think they were a bit shocked over the living room. I went to Leavenworth (the Bavarian village) at the start of the summer and thought that if Dad and Penny had time they should stop on their way out. Because they arrived early they didn’t have a chance to do that. So today we woke up early and hit the rode. Andrea was a bit tired from the pervious day and decided to stay back at the apartment.

 One of the things that you must do when you visit Seattle is ride the ferries. That is something that Andrea and I have never done. Our first ferry ride was with the parents today as we decided to explore BainbridgeIsland.

 Check off Pike Place Market!

Last night we figured it would be easier to take the train in and walk to Pike Place Market instead of driving and worrying about the parking. Dad and Penny just called they are coming tonight instead of tomorrow afternoon. They should be pulling in right after I get back from work. I took tomorrow off so we could make sure the apartment is clean. I had better get a hold of Andrea and make sure the apartment is fairly clean.

One month until I get to go see Wicked! I have been waiting to see the show since college. I cannot wait.

We had our first Blue Angels sighting!!

Sounds like the Blue Angels just took off from Boeing (they are in town for SeaFair). I hope that we will get a glimpse of them today!
