11. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
haloween and november 11th are definitely memorable because of michael. Also will hudsons birthday when me, him, and andy anderson rode around all day and talked and shopped then later played trivial persuit with leslie, june 19th when I transferred to the rowlett starbucks, the pisces birthday party, leslies summer party scoop ridiculosity, my party in may with the disc golf drinking game, my little porch party this summer, the girls night in early october when we all piled in the car and sang (yelled) songs all the way to the "adult" store...I'll stop there

12. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
getting coffee master certified and generally being more successful than I had anticipated at work due to transferring stores, paying off my car early, and (on a personal note) gaining more control over my emotions and having more courage when it comes to making descisions

13. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I suffer minor injuries on a daily basis. I was pretty lucky this year and didnt get too sick (thanks, Airborne!) but there was that time this summer when I couldnt turn my head to the side too quick of I would feel like I was gunna die. I get excited over anything. I think the INXS concert tops it though.

17. What song will always remind you of 2006?
god so many...Neko Case, OCMS' album big iron world, ridin dirtay (srsly), george strait - unwound, dierks bentley - what was I thinkin, tom petty - breakdown, gnarles barkley - crazy, mungo jerry - in the summertime, oasis :)

seeing my family

20. What do you wish you'd done less of?
worrying

21. How did you spend Christmas?
I worked xmas eve, then opened presents with my family and watched grayson play. Then drank wine and ate triscuits. Then I went to joel and michaels to give joel his gift and we watched talladega nights. Christmas day we went to the Bryans. Gave out coffee, ate lots of fruit salad, drank lots of wine, and played with babies all day. Michael joined us later and watched my family be weird. Then we went back to his apartment and watched a billion episodes of mythbusters and ate cookies and went to bed. It was a nice, calm holiday.

the last kiss oh god kill me

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 22 and had a pisces birthday party with kelli, travis, and jeff reynolds also celebrating birthdays around that time. Tons of people came and it was wonderful

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
banging the black milkman in the walk in fridge...sigh...I really shouldve gone for it

36. How many concerts did you see in 2006?
A few. I missed MSI and that was sad.

37. Did you have a favorite concert in 2006?
Old Crow Medicine Show put on an amazing show in march that I will never forget, Neko Case sang straight into my soul in April, and my childhood dreams were fulfilled when I saw INXS in june

38. What kept you sane?
family and friends, iced cafe con leches, my own good sense

39. Who did you miss?
Nobody who would be the same if I found them again

40. Who was the best new person you met?
Adam Vigna and Scott Cooper are the only two people I can think of off the top of my head. They're both unlike anyone I have ever met. Total characters. I made some good friends in my new starbucks crew when I transferred in June. If it counts, I now know the glory that is Will Hudson, although we technically met last year. Same with David Riley, who is one of the most interesting people I know and who helped me through the toughest part of this year. And then theres Michael Longhenry who I have been around since 7th grade and never really knew until this year. I'm glad that changed. I hope I'm not forgetting anyone!
