I think Adam's fans do charity better than fansons, but at the same time, he hasn't asked them to walk barefoot with him hundreds of times in a few years and hold their own charity events and buy charity products and come up with their own ways of helping. He asked them to raise money for his birthday, a one time event. Don't get me wrong, I think it's incredible what he and his fans have accomplished for charity: water this week, but I guess I take it personally when Hanson's charity efforts are discounted even very slightly because this cause means a lot to me. And I'm especially testy about it this month because I started a fundraiser to raise only $14,000 for ttw.net in time for the 14th Hanson day, and I've been all but begging fansons to help and so far it's not looking like it'll happen. It pissed me off, because I KNOW that if Hanson asked them to donate, they would. Just like when I started ttw.net and encouraged fans to start their own walks, and NO ONE signed up for 5 months, and then Hanson took the site over and asked

I completely agree with you. I can't even tell you how many times I've gone to concerts and all I've heard is people complaining about the band. Or even worse, talking about how the boys "owe us." I'm sorry, but this band has given me more than I've ever imagined. They don't owe me anything. You're right about the people that do nothing but complain about who they are, too. I've had situations where I don't agree with them. But I accept that they are simply people. People with faults and strengths and all the other things that make them real. While I don't always agree, at least I can appreciate that they have their beliefs and I have mine
